I purchased these because I do a lot (and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT!!) of crafting & use the self-adhesive vinyl in a ton of different projects. I was very pleased with this product & its quality. I generally use these with my Cricut cutter. My most recent project was a last minute quick chalice for a friend of mine that she needed for an upcoming event.  It wasn’t anything special she requested, just a few leaves on a clear glass goblet to get her through the weekend. The vinyl went through the Cricut with no problems & the results where nice & crisp. They went onto the clean glass easily. I was happy with the way this project worked out for me. My friend was extremely thrilled with the final results of the goblet & enjoyed showing it off at her event. She has not reported any negatives so far, but if she does, I will be sure to update my review accordingly. The selection of colors was great & there is enough in the pack to keep you crafting for a good long while.. lol

Pros:

You get a good amount of vinyl sheets to work with for the price. A nice high gloss vinyl sheet great for any number of projects

Cons:

I did have some issues getting it off the backing & could foresee some possible complications if I was working on something with small detail.  In general I’m not doing much in the way of small detail so it’s not a huge concern for me

I personally have no problem at all recommending this pack of sheets if you’re looking for something to keep in your reserves for basic projects. Although this may not be my first choice if I was going to be doing small detail work. I am very happy to work with it for most of my projects.

I purchased this surge protector because we are renovating our apartment in our house after a house fire & when we move back down there I will be replacing all the surge protectors I have been using with brand new ones. I would like to point out that the fire we had that destroyed the apartment in our home & almost everything we owned, put my husband in the hospital for 3 weeks & took the lives of our 3 ferrets, cat & rabbit,( we were told by the fire inspector) was caused by a FAULTY SURGE PROTECTOR. Did you know that surge protectors have expiration dates…I didn’t & most people don’t.  In most cases they just become like a basic power strip, sadly, not so much in our case. The one that failed in our apartment had to be about 10 years old & just being used for cell phones & laptops. Now, after having that experience, I am replacing all my surge protectors when we move back in to high quality brand new ones. & then will replace them every 3-5 years after that. The quality of this surge protector is fantastic. It is a good weight & well made with quality. I’m extremely happy with this one & I’m super picky about my surge protectors after all that has happened.

Pros:

I purchased these because I have been needing a new set of chakra stones for my travel kit.  I’m very pleased with the set I received, I know several people complained the stones are smaller than depicted, but if you look at the pictures, the one on the woman’s forehead & the one in the woman’s hand clearly show that these are small stones. That was the whole reason I wanted them for my travel kit. The size of the stones are just about the size of a dime (give or take) rounded stones with a carved & painted I have identified the stones I received to the best of my ability.

Crown – Violet – Amethyst

Third eye – Indigo – Agate

Throat – Blue – Lapis Lazuli

Heart – green - Jade

Navel – Yellow – Citrine

Sacral – orange – Orange Tourmaline

Root – Red – Red Jasper

I would assume that the types of stones will likely be different from set to set as I have seen with other chakra stone sets.

       Pros:       

This is a nice small set perfect for travel or your office. Velvety carry bag. Easy to take anywhere with you.

Cons:

Some people have complained that the size of these are too small. I will be honest, yes they are small stones, so, if you’re looking for something larger, these may not be your stones

I feel very confident in this product & would recommend these stones to anyone looking for the perfect set for travel, the office or just about anywhere. If you’re looking for a chakra set with large stones I don’t think I would recommend this one for you. But otherwise this is a very nice set of chakra stones that I will be using on a regular basis

SuperFood Reds With Greens: Doctor-Formulated Organic

I purchased this item because I recently got a nutra-extractor & I have been starting a smoothie kick. First off I want to tell you that I’m not one of these fake reviewers who just copies & pastes the information the product lists just to say they let positive feedback. I actually try my products & try to provide a honest & helpful review. That being said, I would give this a big glowing 10 stars. Most of the other “SuperFood Greens” powders for my smoothies & most of them have a good but earthy flavor. This super food tops them all on flavor so far. It gives me a huge boost of energy in the afternoon when I need it & it mixes great with just about anything I throw at it. I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to try this. I will be turning my sister on to this because I can guarantee the kids are going to love this & it will be a great thing for them to have around the house.

Pros:

AMAZING FLAVOR – this has to be one of the best tasting SuperFoods I have tried so far.

Doctor Formulated – this is chock full of goodness & doctor formulated to provide an abundance of nutrients to stimulate the immune system & strengthen the body

Tissue Paper-Craft Paper-Colored Paper Larger-19 2/3" X 29 1/2"-

I purchased this because I run a small boutique style online business selling unique handcrafted items. When I ship my orders out I like to go all out so when someone opens one of my packages it’s like getting a special gift. I normally purchase my tissue paper through a different company & generally they only have your basic white. (sooo boring) I was so thrilled when this arrived because I had been in the process of getting my shipping ready so I was able to open it up & use it right away. This is a much thicker & better quality tissue paper than what currently I’m using & just around the same price as I pay for it too.  So I’m sold on that factor right there. I must say, that the colors are bright & vibrant & there are so many of them. I can make each package I ship a truly special unique transaction for every one of my customers.

Pros:

A multitude of colors, thick quality tissue that doesn’t tear when you use it, nice large pieces making almost everything easy to wrap

Cons:

I’m thrilled with this tissue paper & can’t seem to find a con to mention with this product.

Laticrete Strata_Mat by Laticrete

I want to preface this by stating that this is the first time I have ever used anything but cement board/hardibacker for a kitchen floor under 12x12 times so was kinda leary about my installation technique. so i did do a bit of research including forums & video's for any tips & trick of working with it. I didn't actually purchase this on amazon, I got it through a floor & tile store friend. We are renovating after a house fire that left our apartment in our 2 family home gutted. I got a great deal on enough ceramic tile for the kitchen & bathroom sadly the kitchen floor was already close to the level of the hardwood floors and already 2 layers of plywood so if we wanted to install the ceramic tile without having a trip hazard when you enter the room we had to find a thinner option to the hardy backer. After much research we decided on a combination of Redgard waterproofing/crack suppression & Laticrete Strata_Mat. I am so pleased with the results I just had to share a review & some pictures here on amazon. I will admit that the Laticrete Strata_Mat is quite a bit more work than cement board, but the results are well worth it. the only reason its getting 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is twice the work of cement board..

First off we washed & treated the plywood floor with redgard for waterproofing, making sure to get the seams extra well to aid in crack prevention. Once that was dry we began the process of laying the Strata_mat

so we cut or Strata_mat so was ready to be placed down. (making sure that we went the opposite way of the floor board seams so the seam lines lay like a grind, not along each other.)   

We then mixed our modified thinset mortar So it was ready - You need to make the mortar a little wetter than you would for laying the tile to help it adhere to the Strata_mat fabric easier. Also, Lay out enough thin set out to lay your first piece.

next we put down our first piece. The nice thing about this compared to Ditra (the orange stuff from lowes) is that you can sorta see throughout it enough to see a dark color change, so any large white sections you see are the spots that need to be pressed down to make better contact. It really makes it so much easier when you can see how well it has made contact.

Once you see an even darkness through the mat you can move to the next piece. You can use a grout float to press down the mat. (I wound up using just a spare piece of smaller tile to push it) there is no set time needed & you can walk on & begin laying your tile right away, that's just awesome if you ask me!!. The results are an amazingly secure & I'm so thrilled with the way it turned out

Pro's

Thin - this is a great alternative to cement board when tile might is an issue.

Amazing stability & crack prevention.

The divits in the mat create a very strong bond. These tiles won't be coming up any time soon

Con's

A lot more work than cement board - Make sure you set aside extra time to lay this down before starting your tile work..

Very uncomfortable to work on - If your not using knee pads, use a piece of cardboard or something to kneel on. Trust me... You will need it.. Your knees will thank you.

I have no problems at all recommending this as an alternative to cement board/hardy backer when night is an issue. It may be a few more hours of work, but sooooo well worth the extra time.
